و از جمله دعاهاى مشهور این روز دعاى حضرت سید الشهداء علیه السلام است بشر و بشیر پسران غالب اسدى روایت کرده‏اند که پسین روز عرفه در عرفات در خدمت آن حضرت بودیم پس از خیمه خود بیرون آمدند با گروهى از اهل بیت و فرزندان و شیعیان با نهایت تذلل و خشوع پس در جانب چپ کوه ایستادند و روى مبارک را بسوى کعبه گردانیدند و دستها را برابر رو برداشتند مانند مسکینى که طعام طلبد و این دعا را خواندند
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِی لَیْسَ لِقَضَائِهِ دَافِعٌ وَ لاَ لِعَطَائِهِ مَانِعٌ وَ لاَ کَصُنْعِهِ صُنْعُ صَانِعٍ‏
 Praise be to Allah, not a soul there is to slow down or put off His rational determination, nor can anyone interfere with the free distribution of provisions He makes available )to one and all(, nor is any artful able to do or make like He does or makes. 
وَ هُوَ الْجَوَادُ الْوَاسِعُ فَطَرَ أَجْنَاسَ الْبَدَائِعِ وَ أَتْقَنَ بِحِکْمَتِهِ الصَّنَائِعَ‏
 He does good )of the best quality( liberally, far-reaching and allembracing. For the first time He created the genus of new things out of nothing, and put in motion accurate system, knowingly, in that which He did or made. 
لاَ تَخْفَى عَلَیْهِ الطَّلاَئِعُ وَ لاَ تَضِیعُ عِنْدَهُ الْوَدَائِعُ (أَتَى بِالْکِتَابِ الْجَامِعِ وَ بِشَرْعِ الْإِسْلاَمِ النُّورِ السَّاطِعِ وَ لِلْخَلِیقَةِ صَانِعٌ وَ هُوَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَى الْفَجَائِعِ)
 Whatever takes root and shoots up is not concealed from His view, nor that, which is left alone and is at rest, is deemed lost in His estimation. . . . . 
جَازِی کُلِّ صَانِعٍ وَ رَائِشُ کُلِّ قَانِعٍ وَ رَاحِمُ کُلِّ ضَارِعٍ‏
 He pays back, as the case may be, in return of every "work". Whoso prays humbly and convincingly is accommodated; whoso goes near Him, in need, receives )His( loving response. 
وَ مُنْزِلُ الْمَنَافِعِ وَ الْکِتَابِ الْجَامِعِ بِالنُّورِ السَّاطِعِ‏
 He is the ultimate destination, where, whoso reaches draws advantages from and profits by His hospitality. He is evident )clear to the understanding( through the light of the conclusive Book. 
وَ هُوَ لِلدَّعَوَاتِ سَامِعٌ وَ لِلْکُرُبَاتِ دَافِعٌ وَ لِلدَّرَجَاتِ رَافِعٌ وَ لِلْجَبَابِرَةِ قَامِعٌ‏
 It is He who listens to and accepts prayers, drives away sorrows, takes up to higher regions, destroys the force of tyranny, 
فَلاَ إِلَهَ غَیْرُهُ وَ لاَ شَیْ‏ءَ یَعْدِلُهُ وَ لَیْسَ کَمِثْلِهِ شَیْ‏ءٌ
 so there is no god other than He nothing )no one( can place one"s self on a level with Him, and there is nothing comparable unto Him. 
وَ هُوَ السَّمِیعُ الْبَصِیرُ اللَّطِیفُ الْخَبِیرُ وَ هُوَ عَلَى کُلِّ شَیْ‏ءٍ قَدِیرٌ
 It is He who hears, sees, and is aware )of everything( in detail, and it is He who is able to do all things. 
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّی أَرْغَبُ إِلَیْکَ وَ أَشْهَدُ بِالرُّبُوبِیَّةِ لَکَ‏
 O Allah I willingly lean upon and long for Thee, I solemnly declare that Thou art God, 
مُقِرّاً (مُقِرٌّ) بِأَنَّکَ رَبِّی وَ أَنَّ إِلَیْکَ مَرَدِّی ابْتَدَأْتَنِی بِنِعْمَتِکَ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَکُونَ شَیْئًا مَذْکُوراً
 I humble myself by owning with gratitude that Thou art my Lord-Nourisher. Unto Thee I shall return. I came into being when Thou mercifully said "Yes". Prior to my becoming worthy of introduction )in this world(, 
وَ خَلَقْتَنِی مِنَ التُّرَابِ ثُمَّ أَسْکَنْتَنِی الْأَصْلاَبَ آمِناً لِرَیْبِ الْمَنُونِ وَ اخْتِلاَفِ الدُّهُورِ وَ السِّنِینَ‏
 Thou brought me into existence from the dust, thereafter deposited for keeping in the procreative loins, free from deadly dangers, and from uncertain ups and downs in the course of events and circumstances, 
فَلَمْ أَزَلْ ظَاعِناً مِنْ صُلْبٍ إِلَى رَحِمٍ فِی تَقَادُمٍ مِنَ الْأَیَّامِ الْمَاضِیَةِ وَ الْقُرُونِ الْخَالِیَةِ
 I was not neglected so as to go from the loin to the womb, to arrive in advance, in the days of empty and unruly times. 
لَمْ تُخْرِجْنِی لِرَأْفَتِکَ بِی وَ لُطْفِکَ لِی (بِی) وَ إِحْسَانِکَ إِلَیَّ فِی دَوْلَةِ أَئِمَّةِ الْکُفْرِ الَّذِینَ نَقَضُوا عَهْدَکَ وَ کَذَّبُوا رُسُلَکَ‏
 It was Thy kind consideration, friendliness and favourable inclination towards me that Thou did not bring me out during the rule of "unbelieving in God" leaders who pulled apart the bounds of obligation unto Thee and "denied Thy Messengers, 
لَکِنَّکَ أَخْرَجْتَنِی (رَأْفَةً مِنْکَ وَ تَحَنُّناً عَلَیَّ) لِلَّذِی سَبَقَ لِی مِنَ الْهُدَى الَّذِی لَهُ یَسَّرْتَنِی‏
 but made me come out when, well in advance, the true guidance had been made available to )the mankind( which rendered my task easy, 
وَ فِیهِ أَنْشَأْتَنِی وَ مِنْ قَبْلِ ذَلِکَ رَؤُفْتَ بِی بِجَمِیلِ صُنْعِکَ وَ سَوَابِغِ نِعَمِکَ‏
 and amid that )facility( I grew up. Earlier than that Thou made generous use of Thy limitless resources and very lovingly gave shape to Thy beautiful design. 
فَابْتَدَعْتَ خَلْقِی مِنْ مَنِیٍّ یُمْنَى وَ أَسْکَنْتَنِی فِی ظُلُمَاتٍ ثَلاَثٍ بَیْنَ لَحْمٍ وَ دَمٍ وَ جِلْدٍ
 Then the beginning of my growth started in the discharged sperm, and I passed )dwelling for a time( through three intricacies flesh, blood and hide, 
لَمْ تُشْهِدْنِی خَلْقِی (لَمْ تُشَهِّرْنِی بِخَلْقِی) وَ لَمْ تَجْعَلْ إِلَیَّ شَیْئًا مِنْ أَمْرِی‏
 unable to see my own growth, and there was nothing which I could do on my own; 
ثُمَّ أَخْرَجْتَنِی لِلَّذِی سَبَقَ لِی مِنَ الْهُدَى إِلَى الدُّنْیَا تَامّاً سَوِیّاً
 thereafter I was commissioned to enter this world, complete in all respects, with an "end" in view, in the midst of true guidance, sent down ahead of my arrival. 
وَ حَفِظْتَنِی فِی الْمَهْدِ طِفْلاً صَبِیّاً وَ رَزَقْتَنِی مِنَ الْغِذَاءِ لَبَناً مَرِیّاً
 I was taken care of in the cradle when I was a suckling infant, nursed on easily disgestable wholesome milk, 
وَ عَطَفْتَ عَلَیَّ قُلُوبَ الْحَوَاضِنِ وَ کَفَّلْتَنِی الْأُمَّهَاتِ الرَّوَاحِمَ (الرَّحَائِمَ) وَ کَلَأْتَنِی مِنْ طَوَارِقِ الْجَانِ‏
 brought up in the lovingly caressing arms and bossoms, loved and cherished by mothers, kept safe from the clutches of demons, 
وَ سَلَّمْتَنِی مِنَ الزِّیَادَةِ وَ النُّقْصَانِ فَتَعَالَیْتَ یَا رَحِیمُ یَا رَحْمَانُ‏
 steered clear of ebbs and tides; so, let Thou be praised and glorified O Merciful, O Compassionate, 
حَتَّى إِذَا اسْتَهْلَلْتُ نَاطِقاً بِالْکَلاَمِ أَتْمَمْتَ عَلَیَّ سَوَابِغَ الْإِنْعَامِ وَ رَبَّیْتَنِی زَائِداً فِی کُلِّ عَامٍ‏
 so far it is possible to use words. Thy favours, much and many, are perfected in me, so as to leave nothing wanting. Thou reared and educated me, year by year, progressively, 
حَتَّى إِذَا اکْتَمَلَتْ فِطْرَتِی وَ اعْتَدَلَتْ مِرَّتِی (سَرِیرَتِی) أَوْجَبْتَ عَلَیَّ حُجَّتَکَ بِأَنْ أَلْهَمْتَنِی مَعْرِفَتَکَ وَ رَوَّعْتَنِی بِعَجَائِبِ حِکْمَتِکَ (فِطْرَتِکَ)
 till my natural disposition reached a condition of complete excellence, in style and substance; my intellect and judgement poised in equilibrium. Thou made me deserving to adhere and cling to Thee by stimulating creative thoughts in me to know Thee well and accurately. Thy extraordinary wisdom filled me with awe and delight. 
وَ أَیْقَظْتَنِی لِمَا ذَرَأْتَ فِی سَمَائِکَ وَ أَرْضِکَ مِنْ بَدَائِعِ خَلْقِکَ وَ نَبَّهْتَنِی لِشُکْرِکَ وَ ذِکْرِکَ‏
 Thou made me see the light and open my eyes to contemplate for what reason Thou has spread and scattered "things", created by Thee, all over, filling the heavens and the earth, celebrate Thy praise and turn thankful unto Thee, 
وَ أَوْجَبْتَ عَلَیَّ طَاعَتَکَ وَ عِبَادَتَکَ وَ فَهَّمْتَنِی مَا جَاءَتْ بِهِ رُسُلُکَ‏
 necessarily obey and worship Thee, understand what Thy Messengers had brought. 
وَ یَسَّرْتَ لِی تَقَبُّلَ مَرْضَاتِکَ وَ مَنَنْتَ عَلَیَّ فِی جَمِیعِ ذَلِکَ بِعَوْنِکَ وَ لُطْفِکَ‏
 Thou made it easy for me to obtain the grant of Thy approval; and in all events and at every stage Thou very kindly and helpfully showed favour to me. 
ثُمَّ إِذْ خَلَقْتَنِی مِنْ خَیْرِ (حُرِّ) الثَّرَى لَمْ تَرْضَ لِی یَا إِلَهِی نِعْمَةً (بِنِعْمَةٍ) دُونَ أُخْرَى‏
 Since I was created out of the best soil, Thou did not think )any( other favour below )that( fit for me, 
وَ رَزَقْتَنِی مِنْ أَنْوَاعِ الْمَعَاشِ وَ صُنُوفِ الرِّیَاشِ بِمَنِّکَ الْعَظِیمِ الْأَعْظَمِ عَلَیَّ وَ إِحْسَانِکَ الْقَدِیمِ إِلَیَ‏
 and made available for me many resources, gave me plenty and ease, )and this was because of( that greatest of the great favour done to me. Thy "for ever and ever" kind disposition towards me continued 
حَتَّى إِذَا أَتْمَمْتَ عَلَیَّ جَمِیعَ النِّعَمِ وَ صَرَفْتَ عَنِّی کُلَّ النِّقَمِ‏
 until Thou fully equipped me with all Thy benefits, bounties and favours, and set me free from every )shade of( anger, hatred and grudge. 
لَمْ یَمْنَعْکَ جَهْلِی وَ جُرْأَتِی عَلَیْکَ أَنْ دَلَلْتَنِی إِلَى (عَلَى) مَا یُقَرِّبُنِی إِلَیْکَ وَ وَفَّقْتَنِی لِمَا یُزْلِفُنِی لَدَیْکَ‏
 Thou did not forcibly prevent me from acting unto Thee in stupidity and boldness, but instead pointed out the rationale which could )and did( draw me near to Thee, and gave me an opportunity to come close to Thee. 
فَإِنْ دَعَوْتُکَ أَجَبْتَنِی وَ إِنْ سَأَلْتُکَ أَعْطَیْتَنِی وَ إِنْ أَطَعْتُکَ شَکَرْتَنِی‏
 Thou answered my prayer whenever I cried unto Thee, Thou gave whenever I made arequest, Thou acknowledged and blessed me whenever I obeyed Thy commands, 
وَ إِنْ شَکَرْتُکَ زِدْتَنِی کُلُّ ذَلِکَ إِکْمَالٌ (إِکْمَالاً) لِأَنْعُمِکَ عَلَیَّ وَ إِحْسَانِکَ إِلَیَ‏
 Thou elaborately signified me whenever I thanked Thee. And like that Thou brought to fulness and made complete Thy favours and preferences for me. 
فَسُبْحَانَکَ سُبْحَانَکَ مِنْ مُبْدِئٍ مُعِیدٍ حَمِیدٍ مَجِیدٍ وَ تَقَدَّسَتْ أَسْمَاؤُکَ وَ عَظُمَتْ آلاَؤُکَ‏
 So, glory be to Thee. Glory be to Thee, the Originator, the Perpetual who brings back all things, the Praised, the Almighty. Blessed are Thy names. Much, many and essential are Thy bounties. 
فَأَیَّ (فَأَیُّ) نِعَمِکَ یَا إِلَهِی أُحْصِی عَدَداً وَ ذِکْراً أَمْ أَیُّ عَطَایَاکَ أَقُومُ بِهَا شُکْراً
 Which is it, of Thy bounties, O my God, that I can count in number, or refer to? Which is it, of Thy grants, that I can take up to show my gratitude? 
وَ هِیَ یَا رَبِّ أَکْثَرُ (أَکْبَرُ) مِنْ أَنْ یُحْصِیَهَا الْعَادُّونَ أَوْ یَبْلُغَ عِلْماً بِهَا الْحَافِظُونَ‏
 They are, O Lord-Nourisher, much more than what the experts in accounts could add up, or the memory of the keen perceivers could grasp and recognise; 
ثُمَّ مَا صَرَفْتَ وَ دَرَأْتَ عَنِّی اللَّهُمَّ مِنَ الضُّرِّ وَ الضَّرَّاءِ أَکْثَرُ مِمَّا ظَهَرَ لِی مِنَ الْعَافِیَةِ وَ السَّرَّاءِ
 then, also that which Thou turned off and pushed back, O Allah, )so as to keep me safe( from many a loss, are more than what Thou brought out openly to circle round me and give me joy, heart and confidence. 
وَ أَنَا (فَأَنَا) أَشْهَدُ یَا إِلَهِی بِحَقِیقَةِ إِیمَانِی وَ عَقْدِ عَزَمَاتِ یَقِینِی وَ خَالِصِ صَرِیحِ تَوْحِیدِی‏
 And I pronounce the profession of faith, O my God, with true belief, )and it is( tied together: with my conviction-decided, sure, )with( my )confident acceptance of Thy( Oneness-sincere, clear, 
وَ بَاطِنِ مَکْنُونِ ضَمِیرِی وَ عَلاَئِقِ مَجَارِی نُورِ بَصَرِی وَ أَسَارِیرِ صَفْحَةِ جَبِینِی‏
 )with( the interior nature and firmness of consciousness, )with( the light of the eyes, the coherence of sight, )with( the lines imprinted on the forehead, 
وَ خُرْقِ مَسَارِبِ نَفْسِی (نَفَسِی) وَ خَذَارِیفِ مَارِنِ عِرْنِینِی وَ مَسَارِبِ سِمَاخِ (صِمَاخِ) سَمْعِی‏
 )with( the open hallow )track( for the breath of life, )with( the supple but strong nasal cavities of the nose, )with( the vibrations of eardrums for the hearing; 
وَ مَا ضُمَّتْ وَ أَطْبَقَتْ عَلَیْهِ شَفَتَایَ وَ حَرَکَاتِ لَفْظِ لِسَانِی‏
 and )with( that which Thou joined and fit therewith: two active edges )lips(, nimble movements of the tongue, uttering words, 
وَ مَغْرَزِ حَنَکِ فَمِی وَ فَکِّی وَ مَنَابِتِ أَضْرَاسِی وَ مَسَاغِ مَطْعَمِی وَ مَشْرَبِی‏
 a seat )underneath( and a palate )above( inside the mouth and jaws; growth of the teeth, passage for eating and drinking, 
وَ حِمَالَةِ أُمِّ رَأْسِی وَ بَلُوعِ فَارِغِ حَبَائِلِ (بُلُوغِ حَبَائِلِ بَارِعِ) عُنُقِی‏
 carriers laden with nerves and sinews )inside( the skull, tube for swallowing )gullet( held fast by the connective tissues of the back, 
وَ مَا اشْتَمَلَ عَلَیْهِ تَامُورُ صَدْرِی وَ (جُمَلِ) حَمَائِلِ حَبْلِ وَتِینِی وَ نِیَاطِ حِجَابِ قَلْبِی وَ أَفْلاَذِ حَوَاشِی کَبِدِی‏
 )which( supports and surrounds the cloak of the chest, holding the great artery )aorta(, and the vital veins, )behind( the pericardium of the heart, fissures and retinues of the lever, 
وَ مَا حَوَتْهُ شَرَاسِیفُ أَضْلاَعِی وَ حِقَاقُ (حِقَاقِ) مَفَاصِلِی وَ قَبْضُ (قَبْضِ) عَوَامِلِی وَ أَطْرَافُ (أَطْرَافِ) أَنَامِلِی‏
 and the encircling rib cage, on )both( sides, cavity of hip-bone, the juncture of )movable and immovable bones( vertebrae. crowding, pressing, interacting functions of the organism, and fingers on the extremities of the body; 
وَ لَحْمِی وَ دَمِی وَ شَعْرِی وَ بَشَرِی وَ عَصَبِی وَ قَصَبِی وَ عِظَامِی‏
 and flesh, blood, hair, skin, muscles, ducts, bones, 
وَ مُخِّی وَ عُرُوقِی وَ جَمِیعُ (جَمِیعِ) جَوَارِحِی‏
 marrow, sinews, and all limbs of the body; 
وَ مَا انْتَسَجَ عَلَى ذَلِکَ أَیَّامَ رضَاعِی وَ مَا أَقَلَّتِ الْأَرْضُ مِنِّی وَ نَوْمِی وَ یَقَظَتِی وَ سُکُونِی وَ حَرَکَاتِ رُکُوعِی وَ سُجُودِی‏
 and that which had been pieced together, in addition to above, in the earliest stage of my development, and that which had been handed over to me by the earth; and my sleep, wakefulness, and rest; performance of bowing down and prosternation. 
أَنْ لَوْ حَاوَلْتُ وَ اجْتَهَدْتُ مَدَى الْأَعْصَارِ وَ الْأَحْقَابِ لَوْ عُمِّرْتُهَا أَنْ أُؤَدِّیَ شُکْرَ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنْ أَنْعُمِکَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ ذَلِکَ‏
 If I resolve and make efforts, over the years, in a lifetime, to thankfully express my obligation and gratitude to Thee for even a single favour, I cannot find the words to make it possible, 
إِلاَّ بِمَنِّکَ الْمُوجَبِ عَلَیَّ بِهِ شُکْرُکَ أَبَداً جَدِیداً وَ ثَنَاءً طَارِفاً عَتِیداً
 except to do what Thou has very kindly made obligatory upon me in order to be able to turn thankful unto Thee, always, day and night; again and again to be praised for newly-acquired rare gifts, devotedly with perseverance, in the future life. 
أَجَلْ وَ لَوْ حَرَصْتُ أَنَا وَ الْعَادُّونَ مِنْ أَنَامِکَ أَنْ نُحْصِیَ مَدَى إِنْعَامِکَ سَالِفِهِ (سَالِفَةً) وَ آنِفِهِ (آنِفَةً)
 If I crave for more, taken up with greed, to have an idea about Thy bounties, given and to be given )with the help of expert accountants(, 
مَا حَصَرْنَاهُ عَدَداً وَ لاَ أَحْصَیْنَاهُ أَمَداً
 we shall neither be able to fence in the sum total, nor reckon, )nor( agree with each other; 
هَیْهَاتَ أَنَّى ذَلِکَ وَ أَنْتَ الْمُخْبِرُ فِی کِتَابِکَ النَّاطِقِ وَ النَّبَإِ الصَّادِقِ وَ إِنْ تَعُدُّوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ لاَ تُحْصُوهَا
 also from where and how all that was made available! Thou Thyself made known in Thy rational Book, and Thy information was true: "If you would count the bounty of Allah you cannot reckon it. " 
صَدَقَ کِتَابُکَ اللَّهُمَّ وَ إِنْبَاؤُکَ وَ بَلَّغَتْ أَنْبِیَاؤُکَ وَ رُسُلُکَ مَا أَنْزَلْتَ عَلَیْهِمْ مِنْ وَحْیِکَ وَ شَرَعْتَ لَهُمْ وَ بِهِمْ مِنْ دِینِکَ‏
 O Allah, Thy book is true, and also Thy information. Thy Prophets and Messengers had conveyed )only( that which Thou communicated to them through revelation, )and Thou( prescribed a path to walk and a law to follow, for them, and through them-Thy religion. 
غَیْرَ أَنِّی یَا إِلَهِی أَشْهَدُ بِجَهْدِی وَ جِدِّی وَ مَبْلَغِ طَاعَتِی (طَاقَتِی) وَ وُسْعِی وَ أَقُولُ مُؤْمِناً مُوقِناً
 In addition to this, O my God, I pronounce the profession of faith in my every activity and effort, and in that which I do wholeheartedly in the matter of my obedience )unto Thee( and in my ease and comfort. I, faithful and believing, say: 
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِی لَمْ یَتَّخِذْ وَلَداً فَیَکُونَ مَوْرُوثاً
 Praise be to Allah who has not taken unto Himself a son, sothat he may inherit, 
وَ لَمْ یَکُنْ لَهُ شَرِیکٌ فِی مُلْکِهِ فَیُضَادَّهُ فِیمَا ابْتَدَعَ‏
 who has no partner in His sovereignty, so that he may interfere with or hinder in that which is originated, 
وَ لاَ وَلِیٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ فَیُرْفِدَهُ فِیمَا صَنَعَ فَسُبْحَانَهُ سُبْحَانَهُ لَوْ کَانَ فِیهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا وَ تَفَطَّرَتَا
 nor has He any protecting friend through dependence, so that he may lend a helping hand in that which is created; therefore, glory be to Him. Glory be to Him, because had there been "gods", save Allah, they would have stirred up mischief and gone crazy, divided and ruined. 
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْأَحَدِ الصَّمَدِ الَّذِی لَمْ یَلِدْ وَ لَمْ یُولَدْ وَ لَمْ یَکُنْ لَهُ کُفُواً أَحَدٌ
 Glory be to Allah, the One and Only, the eternally besought of all! He begets not, nor was begotten. And there is none comparable unto Him. 
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ حَمْداً یُعَادِلُ حَمْدَ مَلاَئِکَتِهِ الْمُقَرَّبِینَ وَ أَنْبِیَائِهِ الْمُرْسَلِینَ‏
 Praise be to Allah. Praise )which is( equal in weight, measure and value to the praise celebrated by His favourite angels and the commissioned Prophets. 
وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى خِیَرَتِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِیِّینَ وَ آلِهِ الطَّیِّبِینَ الطَّاهِرِینَ الْمُخْلَصِینَ وَ سَلَّمَ‏
 Blessings of Allah be on His "the best individual", Muhammad, the last Prophet, and on his pure, purified and sincere children; and also peace be on them. 
پس شروع فرمود آن حضرت در سؤال و اهتمام نمود در دعا و آب از دیده‏هاى مبارکش جارى بود پس گفت‏
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِی أَخْشَاکَ کَأَنِّی أَرَاکَ وَ أَسْعِدْنِی بِتَقْوَاکَ وَ لاَ تُشْقِنِی بِمَعْصِیَتِکَ وَ خِرْ لِی فِی قَضَائِکَ‏
 O Allah make me stand in awe of Thy reverence as if )it has been(witnessed, let me find happiness in the awareness of Thy boundaries, do not throw me into anarchy, subversion of Thy plan, I want the )best( good for me in Thy decisions, 
وَ بَارِکْ لِی فِی قَدَرِکَ حَتَّى لاَ أُحِبَّ تَعْجِیلَ مَا أَخَّرْتَ وَ لاَ تَأْخِیرَ مَا عَجَّلْتَ‏
 and advantages in abundance in that which Thou prepare and make ready for me, upto a condition that I do not )choose( bid to bring quickly that which Thou arrests temporarily to come at the end, and do not put off, after all others, that which Thou sets in motion in advance. 
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ غِنَایَ فِی نَفْسِی وَ الْیَقِینَ فِی قَلْبِی وَ الْإِخْلاَصَ فِی عَمَلِی‏
 O Allah let joy and bliss dwell in my heart, sure belief )take root( in my mind, sincerity )dominate( my work, 
وَ النُّورَ فِی بَصَرِی وَ الْبَصِیرَةَ فِی دِینِی وَ مَتِّعْنِی بِجَوَارِحِی وَ اجْعَلْ سَمْعِی وَ بَصَرِی الْوَارِثَیْنِ مِنِّی‏
 light )give light to( my sight, and insight )seep in( my religion. Let me derive advantages from and take delight in my strong limbs. Let my progeny inherit my knowledge and insight, 
وَ انْصُرْنِی عَلَى مَنْ ظَلَمَنِی وَ أَرِنِی فِیهِ ثَارِی وَ مَآرِبِی وَ أَقِرَّ بِذَلِکَ عَیْنِی‏
 Come to my help whenever any one wrongfully take liberties with me, and take me out from this )situation( happy and celebrated, and let it be a refreshing sight for me to look at. 
اللَّهُمَّ اکْشِفْ کُرْبَتِی وَ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَتِی وَ اغْفِرْ لِی خَطِیئَتِی وَ اخْسَأْ شَیْطَانِی‏
 O Allah disperse the clouds of sorrows, obliterate my shortcomings, )remove my errors(, forgive my mistakes, drive and scare away the demons )frenzy, madness, violence( from me, 
وَ فُکَّ رِهَانِی وَ اجْعَلْ لِی یَا إِلَهِی الدَّرَجَةَ الْعُلْیَا فِی الْآخِرَةِ وَ الْأُولَى‏
 keep me aloof from being held as a hostage )a pawn in the hands of Thy enemies(, and make me win the highest honours in the end as well as in the beginning. 
اللَّهُمَّ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ کَمَا خَلَقْتَنِی فَجَعَلْتَنِی سَمِیعاً بَصِیراً
 O Allah, praise be to Thee, for the reason that Thou not only brought me into existence but also gave me the sense of hearing and the power of seeing; 
وَ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ کَمَا خَلَقْتَنِی فَجَعَلْتَنِی خَلْقاً (حَیّاً) سَوِیّاً رَحْمَةً بِی وَ قَدْ کُنْتَ عَنْ خَلْقِی غَنِیّاً
 praise be to Thee, because Thou not only brought me into existence but also very kindly made my life meaningful; in fact Thou could dispense with my creation if Thou so willed, 
رَبِّ بِمَا بَرَأْتَنِی فَعَدَّلْتَ فِطْرَتِی رَبِّ بِمَا أَنْشَأْتَنِی فَأَحْسَنْتَ صُورَتِی‏
 O Lord, nevertheless, smoothed and made ready )my( "clay", so did full justice to my make; O Lord, whereby, it )my clay( dried up and became alive, then, Thou let it vie in beauty and goodness; 
رَبِّ بِمَا أَحْسَنْتَ إِلَیَّ (بِی) وَ فِی نَفْسِی عَافَیْتَنِی رَبِّ بِمَا کَلَأْتَنِی وَ وَفَّقْتَنِی‏
 O Lord, whereby, Thou showed consideration for me, and gave me peace of mind; O Lord, whereby, Thou let me go and have my own, way; 
رَبِّ بِمَا أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَیَّ فَهَدَیْتَنِی رَبِّ بِمَا أَوْلَیْتَنِی وَ مِنْ کُلِّ خَیْرٍ أَعْطَیْتَنِی‏
 O Lord, whereby, Thou lent a helping hand, so, showed me the right path; O Lord, whereby, Thou befriended me, and granted me every good there is; 
رَبِّ بِمَا أَطْعَمْتَنِی وَ سَقَیْتَنِی رَبِّ بِمَا أَغْنَیْتَنِی وَ أَقْنَیْتَنِی رَبِّ بِمَا أَعَنْتَنِی وَ أَعْزَزْتَنِی‏
 O Lord, whereby, Thou made me able to consume food and absorb water;O Lord, whereby, Thou made me competent and qualified; O Lord, whereby, Thou assisted and honoured me; 
رَبِّ بِمَا أَلْبَسْتَنِی مِنْ سِتْرِکَ الصَّافِی وَ یَسَّرْتَ لِی مِنْ صُنْعِکَ الْکَافِی صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
 O Lord, whereby, Thou covered me with Thy pure covering, and made easy for me to get whatever I wanted from the bounties Thou has created. Send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad, 
وَ أَعِنِّی عَلَى بَوَائِقِ الدُّهُورِ وَ صُرُوفِ اللَّیَالِی وَ الْأَیَّامِ‏
 and help me to steer clear of the mischiefs, quarrels, and vicissitudes, confronting me day and night, in the course of events, 
وَ نَجِّنِی مِنْ أَهْوَالِ الدُّنْیَا وَ کُرُبَاتِ الْآخِرَةِ وَ اکْفِنِی شَرَّ مَا یَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ فِی الْأَرْضِ‏
 liberate me from terror in this world, and from painful tightening bonds in the Hereafter, keep me safe from the corruption with which the tyrants have disfigured the earth. 
اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَخَافُ فَاکْفِنِی وَ مَا أَحْذَرُ فَقِنِی وَ فِی نَفْسِی وَ دِینِی فَاحْرُسْنِی‏
 O Allah, let that which threatens me depart, and that which frightens me disappear; keep an eye on me and my religion, 
وَ فِی سَفَرِی فَاحْفَظْنِی وَ فِی أَهْلِی وَ مَالِی فَاخْلُفْنِی وَ فِیمَا رَزَقْتَنِی فَبَارِکْ لِی وَ فِی نَفْسِی فَذَلِّلْنِی‏
 in my campaign stand by me, and give me an heir to take charge of my family and fortune, after me, in )the matter of( my livelihood pour out much in abundance, let me be free from pride within myself, 
وَ فِی أَعْیُنِ النَّاسِ فَعَظِّمْنِی وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْجِنِّ وَ الْإِنْسِ فَسَلِّمْنِی‏
 )but let me( make a deep impression upon people, deliver me from the power of men and devils, 
وَ بِذُنُوبِی فَلاَ تَفْضَحْنِی وَ بِسَرِیرَتِی فَلاَ تُخْزِنِی وَ بِعَمَلِی فَلاَ تَبْتَلِنِی وَ نِعَمَکَ فَلاَ تَسْلُبْنِی وَ إِلَى غَیْرِکَ فَلاَ تَکِلْنِی‏
 let me not be dismissed from )Thy( favour by disobeying )Thy( commands, do not let me put myself to shame by harbouring suspicious thoughts, do not let me wear out and lose interest in my work, do not let me be deprived of Thy bounties, do not let me be obliged to rely on others, other than Thee, 
إِلَهِی إِلَى مَنْ تَکِلُنِی إِلَى قَرِیبٍ فَیَقْطَعُنِی أَمْ إِلَى بَعِیدٍ فَیَتَجَهَّمُنِی أَمْ إِلَى الْمُسْتَضْعَفِینَ لِی وَ أَنْتَ رَبِّی وَ مَلِیکُ أَمْرِی‏
 O my God, on him who is a kinsman but turns aside from me, or a stranger who frowns at me, or anybody who holds me in contempt. Thou art my Lord and Master, 
أَشْکُو إِلَیْکَ غُرْبَتِی وَ بُعْدَ دَارِی وَ هَوَانِی عَلَى مَنْ مَلَّکْتَهُ أَمْرِی‏
 my, circumstances bring forth an adverse report, to Thee, of )my( distress, absence from home, and nothingness, )to Onewho( controls and directs my interests. 
إِلَهِی فَلاَ تُحْلِلْ عَلَیَّ غَضَبَکَ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَکُنْ غَضِبْتَ عَلَیَّ فَلاَ أُبَالِی (سِوَاکَ) سُبْحَانَکَ غَیْرَ أَنَّ عَافِیَتَکَ أَوْسَعُ لِی‏
 O my God, therefore, do not trouble me with Thy displeasure )refusal(, )because( if Thou does not become angry with me I do not fear anything. Glory be to Thee, in addition Thou art very liberal in Thy favours for my well-being, 
فَأَسْأَلُکَ یَا رَبِّ بِنُورِ وَجْهِکَ الَّذِی أَشْرَقَتْ لَهُ الْأَرْضُ وَ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَ کُشِفَتْ (انْکَشَفَتْ) بِهِ الظُّلُمَاتُ‏
 so I beseech Thee, in the name of the Light of Thy "Supreme Being"which lights up the oarth and the heavens, dispels darkness, 
وَ صَلُحَ بِهِ أَمْرُ الْأَوَّلِینَ وَ الْآخِرِینَ أَنْ لاَ تُمِیتَنِی عَلَى غَضَبِکَ وَ لاَ تُنْزِلَ بِی سَخَطَکَ‏
 and sets aright the circumstances, of the ancients and the moderns, not to let me be affected with Thy disapproval when I die, and do not let me ever provoke Thee to anger, 
لَکَ الْعُتْبَى لَکَ الْعُتْبَى حَتَّى تَرْضَى قَبْلَ ذَلِکَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ رَبَّ الْبَلَدِ الْحَرَامِ‏
 Thou alone has the right to scold and turn aside, Thou alone receives again into favour, till Thou gets reconciledbefore )Thou art provoked to anger(. There is no god save Thou, the Lord of the sacred city, 
وَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ وَ الْبَیْتِ الْعَتِیقِ الَّذِی أَحْلَلْتَهُ الْبَرَکَةَ وَ جَعَلْتَهُ لِلنَّاسِ أَمْناً
 and the holy places dedicated to )Thy( worship, and the Holy Kaa"bah, rendered divine, a sanctuary for the people. 
یَا مَنْ عَفَا عَنْ عَظِیمِ الذُّنُوبِ بِحِلْمِهِ یَا مَنْ أَسْبَغَ النَّعْمَاءَ بِفَضْلِهِ‏
 O He who tolerantly overlooks large number of overbearing lapses. O He who liberally bestows diverse bounties. 
یَا مَنْ أَعْطَى الْجَزِیلَ بِکَرَمِهِ یَا عُدَّتِی فِی شِدَّتِی یَا صَاحِبِی فِی وَحْدَتِی‏
 O He who very kindly grants much and many rewards. O He who makes available for me enough means in the hours of need. O He who keeps company with me in my loneliness. 
یَا غِیَاثِی فِی کُرْبَتِی یَا وَلِیِّی فِی نِعْمَتِی یَا إِلَهِی وَ إِلَهَ آبَائِی إِبْرَاهِیمَ وَ إِسْمَاعِیلَ‏
 O He who takes me out from embarassing situations. O He who watches over me in the time of ease and convenience. O my God and the God of my ancestors- Ibrahim, Isma-e"el, 
وَ إِسْحَاقَ وَ یَعْقُوبَ وَ رَبَّ جَبْرَئِیلَ وَ مِیکَائِیلَ ( مِیکَالَ ) وَ إِسْرَافِیلَ‏
 Ishaq, Yaqoob; and the Lord Master of Jabra-e"el, Meeka-eel and Israfeel, 
وَ رَبَّ مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِیِّینَ وَ آلِهِ الْمُنْتَجَبِینَ وَ مُنْزِلَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَ الْإِنْجِیلِ‏
 and the Lord of Muhammad, the last Prophet, and of his distinguished children, )It is Thou who( sent down Tawrah, Injeel, 
وَ الزَّبُورِ وَ الْفُرْقَانِ وَ مُنَزِّلَ کهیعص وَ طه وَ یس وَ الْقُرْآنِ الْحَکِیمِ‏
 Zuboor, and that which teaches to distinguish between good and evil )Furgan(, and revealed the phrases-"KaafHaa-Yaa-A"yyyn-S"aaad", "T"aaa-Haa", "Yaa-seeen" and also the )whole( Quran, full of wisdom; 
أَنْتَ کَهْفِی حِینَ تُعْیِینِی الْمَذَاهِبُ فِی سَعَتِهَا وَ تَضِیقُ بِیَ الْأَرْضُ بِرُحْبِهَا (بِمَا رَحُبَتْ) وَ لَوْ لاَ رَحْمَتُکَ لَکُنْتُ مِنَ الْهَالِکِینَ‏
 and Thou art my sanctuary when divergent and diverse opinions and theories obscure my vision )and when( the earth, notwithstanding its abundant resources, presses hard upon me and becomes stingy; had not Thy mercy )enfolded me(would have certainly been ruined. 
وَ أَنْتَ مُقِیلُ عَثْرَتِی وَ لَوْ لاَ سَتْرُکَ إِیَّایَ لَکُنْتُ مِنَ الْمَفْضُوحِینَ‏
 Thou overlooked my lapses; had not Thy shield )covered me( I would have certainly been disgraced
