A new study has foundthat a spoonful of honey does a better job of curing a sore

throat than cough syrup.

"This is the first time honey has been actually provenas a treatment," said Dr.

Ian Paul,one of the leaders of the study.

Honey has been usedas a cure for coughs and sore throats for centuries in some
